Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has completed a consultation process for selecting the country’s World Cup 2023 squad.
Chief Selector of Pakistan team Inzamam Ul Haq will announce the 15-member squad of Pakistan for the World Cup today.
The Chief Selector will announce the team in the PCB secretariat in Lahore at 11 a.m.
Inzamam has finalised the Pakistan squad for the ICC World Cup, which will be announced on Friday morning in a press conference scheduled to take place at 1115 am at Level 2, Far-End Building of Gaddafi Stadium.

During the meeting, skipper Baber Azam defended, constantly failed during the tournament, Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan.

Baber Azam claimed that traveling, rain, and fitness problems of players caused the country’s team’s abysmal performance in the Asia Cup.
All the participants of the meeting agreed that unnecessary changes would not be made in the team squad for World Cup.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has set the date of September 28 for the submission of team squads for the world cup.
