NFC Award commission two days meeting is continued in Lahore while the Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, is attending the meeting as finance minister of the province.
The meeting is taking place in civil secretariat, where all provincial finance ministers, secretaries of finance and members of NFC are attending the meeting.
The meeting is considering demands of Baluchistan and Khyberpakhtunkhwa KP. Baluchistan had its demand that its share in the next NFC award be raised according to backwardness in the province while KP has its demand that KP additioal percentage regarding dealing with the terrorism be increased from 1 percent to 3 percent. On the other hand, Sindh will also demand to increase province part on basis of collection of taxes.
The reports pertaining to provinces received amount in previous years will also be presented in the huddle. This meeting report will be presented in expected October session of the NFC Award meeting .
