173 Pakistanis deported from 11 countries

KARACHI: A total of 173 Pakistanis were deported from 11 countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman, in the past 48 hours, with 24 being arrested in Karachi.

According to immigration sources, in Saudi Arabia, 94 Pakistanis were deported after being arrested for various reasons, including being blacklisted, begging, drug trafficking, illegal stay, working without a sponsor, absconding from their jobs, and violating contracts.

Additionally, 3 Pakistanis were deported from Oman, 1 from Thailand, 9 from Iraq, 2 from the UK and Cyprus, 5 from Mauritania for human trafficking, 4 from Indonesia, 2 who had insufficient funds in Qatar, and 1 from Tanzania.

In the UAE, 39 Pakistanis were deported in the last 48 hours after being released from jail due to illegal work and other charges. Among them were 7 blacklisted individuals from IBM’s HIT system, who were sent back to Karachi.
