Sharjah: WI needs 39 runs to win 3rd test

Pakistan bowlers tried their best to snatch  soft victory from West Indies as the Caribbean team managed to score 114 after losing five wickets at the end of fourth day of third test match being played in Sharjah.

West Indies team needed just 39 more runs to win while Pakistan needed five wickets to win the series by 3-0.

The green shirts failed in second innings and whole team bowled out at 208 runs giving low score of 153 runs to chase for the Caribbean team. Pakistan fielding line also collapsed after poor performance in bating  as early two catches of Caribbean team were dropped. Both the catches were dropped in Muhammad Amir’s over.

Chasing low score of 153, the Caribbean team faced difficulty as five players were bowled out at 67. LR Johnson sent to pavilion at 12, DM Bravo 3, MN Samuels  10, J Blackwood 4, RL Chase 2 while the green shirts bowler Yasir Shah showed splendid performance as he took 3 wickets and Wahab Riyaz got  2 wickets.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan has won the test series by 2-0, the green shirts also clean sweep in ODI and T-20 match.
