Islamabad: European Union has expressed serious concerns over human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir and stressed holding up of constructive talks for solution of Kashmir dispute.
Joint meeting of Pakistan and European Union (EU) was held in Islamabad where EU commission welcomed Pakistan’s plan of action for human rights while the EUÂ commission asserted concerns over human rights violation in Indian held Kashmir while the commission also urged the all the parties for holding up of positive talks on Kashmir dispute.
The EU commission expressed satisfaction over providence of additional aid to Afghan refugees and implementation of five year plan of the commission.
In the meeting, EU commission agreed to cooperate with Pakistan in field of anti-terrorism, non-proliferation and security while the commission also supported democracy, election reforms in the country.
