ISLAMABAD: Today marks the 18th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed, with nationwide commemorative events organized by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
The main event is set to take place this afternoon at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto, near Naudero in Larkana. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address the central gathering, which is expected to draw a large attendance of party leaders and workers from across the country.

In his message, he highlighted the former Prime Minister’s inseparable legacy from Pakistan’s struggle for democracy, underlining how she steadfastly championed the supremacy of the Constitution, parliamentary authority, and the people’s right to elect their representatives. He further stated her vision of a federation founded on equality and dignity for citizens of all faiths.
