Web desk (August 18, 2018): 18th edition of Asian games will commence today in Jakarta, capital of Indonesia. Inaugural ceremony will held in Gelora Bung Karno Stadium Utama, at 7 pm.
Participants from 45 countries of World, will showcase their talent in 465 matches of 40 different games games, including cycling, baseball, equestrian, sailing, kabaddi, boxing, gymnastic, wushu, table tennis, weight lifting, golf, handball, volley ball, football, shooting, rowing and hockey in Asian Games 2018.
Pakistan’s contingent consists of 351 members: athletes are 216 men and 39 women, while officials are 96. Male players will participate in 35 events of various disciplines and women in 15 events.
