19 people died owing to heavy rains in Sindh, Balochistan and KP

Quetta: As many as 19 people were dead owing to heavy rains in Tharparkar, Sindh and Dara Adamkhel in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A 11 people which were sleeping in a underground room died as rain water entered in the room and resultantly they all died drowning under the water.

The 11-dead includes of a single family six children, three women and two men.

According to rescue officials, rain water entered the house in old Bazi Khel area of Dara Adamkhel and reached the underground room killing all 11 people.

Moreover, 11 bodies have been recovered from the room while search for a girl is underway.
On the other hand, heavy downpours wreak havoc in Baluchistan cities of Naseerabad, Jafarabad, Dera Murad Jamali.

Whereas heavy showers also lashed in Sindh’s city of Jacoabad and adjoining areas.

Meanwhile the rains brought destruction in Tharparkar, Sindh as eight people were died in the falling of the sky lightening on the ground.

Rains have also been continued in Sawabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the third day while ponds and nullahs inundated.
