PESHAWAR: In various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces have killed 19 terrorists in ongoing operations, while 3 Soldiers martyred in the IBO operation.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Mattani area of Peshawar, targeting a terrorist hideout effectively.
The ISPR stated that 8 terrorists were killed in the operation in Mattani.
In another intelligence-based operation was carried out in the Baizai area of Mohmand, where an exchange of fire resulted in the death of 8 terrorists.
As per ISPR, a third operation was conducted in the Kurram district, where 3 terrorists were killed.
The ISPR also confirmed that during the operations, Lance Havildar Abbas Ali, Naik Mohammad Nazir, and Naik Mohammad Usman were martyred in the exchange of fire.
The ISPR added that clearance operations are ongoing in the area to eliminate other potential terrorists. The forces remain determined to eradicate terrorism from the country, and the sacrifices of brave soldiers like these further strengthen our resolve.
