Islamabad: Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Amir Farooq of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has remarked that why did investigation officer not appear in the hearing of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman bail petition on the 190 million pound case and asked the prosecution be his warrant be issued?
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor didn’t appear before the court in the Imran Khan bail petition in the 190 million pound case. While the CJ IHC heard the PTI founding chairman bail petition.
The NAB counsel insisted the court for postponing of the hearing today. To which Justice Amir Farooq said that we will hear arguments from a counsel of Imran Khan today.
The CJ asked why did an investigation officer not present in the court adding should he issue arrest warrant of him?
