ISLAMABAD: Ahead of hearings on appeals against the convictions of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has taken a significant step.
In the 190 million pound case, NAB has established a special prosecution team to assist during the appeal hearings and applications for suspension of sentences filed in the Islamabad High Court.
The team will support the court during the proceedings concerning Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s convictions.
Following the approval of NAB Chairman, a team of five specialized prosecutors has been formed under the direction of Prosecutor General NAB Syed Ehtisham Qadir Shah.
The team will be led by Sardar Muzaffar Ahmad Khan, with other members including Irfan Ahmad, Sohail Arif, Rafay Maqsood, and Yasir Saleem Rana.
