1st Test Day 2 Close: Pakistan all out for 133, NZ 104for3

CHRISTCHURCH: Pakistan was all out for 133 runs with host New Zealand managing to score 104 runs with seven wickets still remaining at the end of day two of the second Test the first day of which was washed out by the rain yesterday.

Put to bat by New Zealand which won the toss visitor Pakistan kept losing intermittently throughout its first inning. Captain Mibsh-ul-Haq was the top scorer with 31 runs followed by 19 by opener Sami Aslam and Asad Shafiq 16 runs.

Grandhomme was the most successful New Zealand bowler who grabbed six wickets with Southee and Boult taking two wickets each.

Replying back New Zealand lost its first wicket- opener Latham- to Muhammad Amir at collective score of one and individual score of six runs. Williamson was gone at collective score of 15 while Taylor was out at collective score of 40 runs.

At the end of the second day opener Raval was batting at 55 runs while Nicholls held the field with 29 runs.

Muhammad Amir, Sohail Khan, and Rahat Ali removed one New Zealand wicket each.

Misbah-ul-Haq has become the first Pakistani captain to lead the national squad in 50 test matches.
