1st Test: South Africa beats Australia by 177 runs

PERTH: Visitor South Africa has beaten host Australia by 177 runs in the first Test riding on five-wicket haul by Kagiso Rabada.

Deciding to bat after winning the toss South Africa was all out for 242 runs. Host Australia managed to take the two-run lead in the first inning.

South Africa declared the second inning at 540 runs with two wickets still remaining.

Australia was all out for 361 runs in the second inning with Rabada removing 5 Australian wickets for 92 runs. Rabada was declared the Man of the Match for his excellent performance.

The second Test between the two sides will be played at Hobart from November 12-16 while the third will be played at Adelaide on November 24-28.
