WEB DESK: Two individuals have been arrested in Indian Punjab on charges of espionage.
According to Indian media, one of the two arrested is a woman. Both have allegedly been spying for Pakistan.
Indian media reports that the two individuals are accused of spying for an official of the Pakistani Embassy.
One of the suspects is specifically accused of leaking information regarding the movement of the Indian Army.
Meanwhile, India has declared an official of the Pakistani High Commission as persona non grata.
According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, the Pakistani High Commission official has been ordered to leave India within 24 hours. The Pakistani High Commissioner has been issued a demarche in this regard.
