PTI is habitual of leveling unfounded allegations: Minister

Islamabad (May 16, 2017): Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said the motive of PTI is to fan anarchy by disseminating baseless and wrong information in the country.

She refuted the reports claiming that former special Assistant on Foreign Affairs to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi is with the Pakistan`s high-level delegation attending One Belt One Road Conference in Beijing.

The minister responded to the tweets by Shireen Mazari and Naeem-ul-Haque, saying that the PTI leaders aim for creating clash among the state institutions, further adding that PTI is habitual of levelling unfounded allegations.

Expressing her regret, she said that PTI should avoid hurling hollow statements over wrong information and without investigation.

She added that senior PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi should train both the representatives.

Reacting to tweets of PTI leaders Shireen Mazari and Naeem-ul-Haque, she said that PTI is habitual of leveling unfounded allegations.

She said that politics of PTI is aimed at clash among institutions of the country.

Expressing her regret on irresponsible tweets by the PTI leaders, she said that PTI should avoid hurling hollow statements over wrong information and without investigation.

Earlier addressing an education expo in Islamabad on Tuesday, she said that government is investing in human resource development as it is vital for the success of mega projects such as CPEC.

She said that under the umbrella of PM Youth program, several projects have been started for the education, skill enhancement and professional development of the youth.

Minister said quality education is the main component of PM education reforms program in which main emphasis has been given to the training of the teachers. She said that supplementary grant of three billion rupees have been released in order to equip all the public sector schools in Islamabad with modern facilities. Under the reforms program, montessari classes have been introduced and buses have been provided to the educational institutions.

The Minister said the provincial governments are also giving special emphasis to the education and health sectors. She said the textbooks of Punjab Textbook Board have been digitalized in order to ensure their easy access.

She said the day is not far when Pakistan will emerge as a healthy and educated country on the world map.
