Islamabad (June 23, 2017):Leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Babar Awan has decided to tender resignation from the Upper House and expected to join Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf Today.
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has already revealed yesterday that the senior politician would join PTI by tomorrow.

Imran Khan, during an uncharacteristic chat with journalists at an iftar party has said he had also decided to invite Awami Muslim League leader Shaikh Rashid to join his party ‘soon’.
He added that Rashid had fought remarkably well against the ‘mafia’ ─ an apparent reference to the PML-N government, which the Supreme Court had earlier likened to a ‘Sicilian mafia’.
The PTI chief also warned the government not to make the Panama Papers joint investigation team probing the Sharif family’s wealth controversial or, he said, the party would agitate after Eid.
Replying to a question about JIT, PTI Chief said that its finding will soon be announced and therefore Nawaz Sharif should use sleeping pills.
Khan was positive the next election would be held in 2017. “That’s why we held our intra-party election,” he said.
PTI Chairman also termed this year as the ‘election year’as he also gave advance congratulations to his party leaders over their win in Panamagate case.
He went on to say that if in case the Qatari letter is rejected, the whole case would end.
Imran Khan went on to say that Jemiamah has sent all the banking transactions and on the contrary, no such thing has been presented by Sharif family.
PTI Chairman expressed that the government is trying to make JIT controversial and if Nawaz Sharif remains the premier, he won’t let the institutions do their own job.
