Web Desk (July 8, 2017): Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country, according to the Pakistan Meteorological (Met) Department.
However, rain/thundershowers with gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Malakand, Hazara, Dera Ghazi Khan, Quetta, Zhob, Kalat divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir.
Seasonal low lies over northeast Balochistan, said the Met department, adding that light to moderate monsoon currents are penetrating in central and upper parts of the country.
A shallow westerly wave is still affecting upper parts of the country and likely to move northeastwards.

Rain-thundershowers with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan, Bahawalpur, Multan, DG Khan , Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Rawalpindi divisions, Barkhan, Lasbella, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Weather remained hot and humid in other parts of the country.
