Web Desk (August 05, 2017): British star boxer Amir Khan and fashion model Faryal Makhdoom are no longer together as Khan broke the news on Twitter prompting ugly replies from ex-wife with the couple putting a bitter end to around four years of marriage.
Khan posted messages on social media platform to announce that Makhdoom is interested in heavyweight champion British Anthony Joshua.
British Pakistani boxer Amir Khan and his American-Pakistani wife Faryal Makhdoom announced to end their marriage through explosive attacks on Twitter – accusing each other of cheating, lying, being unfaithful and greedy.
Following the footsteps of Imran Khan’s chief of staff Naeem-ul-Haque, Makhdoom deleted her tweets. An online paper claimed that Amir Khan’s Twitter account had been hacked but his explosive tweets weren’t removed from his account.
Just hours earlier, in a similar storm, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeemul Haque claimed to have discussed “marriage” with PTI MNA Ayesha Gulalai. Soon after, he deleted the tweets and PTI Information Secretary Shafqat Mahmood claimed Haque’s account had been hacked.
Khan, who is worth around £25million, claimed his wife had an affair with heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. He not only accused Makhdoom of being desperate to move on, the boxer also alleged that she openly talked about being with another man and that she was a “gold-digger”.
