2nd Test Day2: Rain washes out play again, Pak batting at 310/6

MELBOURNE: Pakistan was batting at 310 runs at the loss of six wickets on the second day of the second Test against host Australia.

Starting the second day of the match at 142 runs with six wickets still remaining Pakistan’s first wicket of the day, and the fifth of the match, fell when Smith caught Asad Shafiq off Bird at collective score of 240 and individual score of 50 runs.

Sarfraz Ahmad was next to go when Renshaw caught him off Hazle wood at collective score of 268 and individual score of 10.

The first day of the play was abandoned due to rains while rains also halted the play on the second day of the match today which was finally abandoned finally with Pakistan batting at 310 for six.

Opener Azhar Ali is at the crease with 139 runs while Muhammad Amir is at the other end with 28 runs.

Today only 50.5 overs were played while 50.3 overs were played yesterday.
