Karachi (May 20, 2017): Three people died after drowning when a boat capsized near Manora beach in Karachi.
As per details, a boat carrying 12 people to Manora Island overturned just off the shore. Due to the incident, the three people drowned and their bodies were pulled out while the remaining nine were saved by rescue workers and Edhi divers.

Bodies of the three were fished out by Edhi divers. Condition of one of those saved is stated to be critical.
It is to be mentioned here that incidents of picnickers’ drowning are common in summer in Karachi’s coast as the sea turned rough.
On May 14, three people drowned in Hawkes Bay beach. Three bodies were pulled out, while the fourth one was saved.
According to the details, four picnickers drowned in the city’s Hawkes Bay beach on Sunday morning, The deceased were identified as Danish, a resident of Buffer Zone; Syed Raza, from Federal B area; Mishal, from North Nazimabad and Zubair.
