TEHRAN: In a recent surge of hostilities, Iranian state media reports that three additional nuclear scientists have been killed in Israeli military operations targeting Iran.
The semi-official Press TV identified the scientists as Ali Bakaei Karimi, Mansour Asgari, and Saeed Borji.
This development follows a series of reported strikes, with the Tasnim news agency revealing that six nuclear scientists were previously assassinated in Israeli attacks. Those identified include Abdulhamid Minouchehr, Ahmadreza Zolfaghari, Seyyed Amirhossein Faqhi, Motablizadeh, Mohammed Mehdi Tehranchi, and Fereydoun Abbasi.
The attacks on Friday involved Israeli forces launching strikes on Iran’s nuclear and missile infrastructure in the early hours, resulting in over 104 fatalities, including prominent military figures and scientists, and injuring nearly 380 individuals.
According to reports, Iran responded with ballistic missiles targeting several areas across Israel, killing three people and injuring over 170 others.
