Bangkok(September 22, 2017): In Thailand, a roadside bomb blast has killed four army rangers and wounded five others including a civilian in southern province of Pattani.

According to police, the soldiers were on a morning patrol in Pattani province when the pickup truck in which they were traveling was struck by the blast.

More than six thousand and five hundred people have been killed since a Muslim separatist insurgency flared in Thailand’s three southernmost provinces of Yala, Pattani, and Narathiwat in 2004.
