KARACHI: The 31st Apex Committee held Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, In Which Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon, Interior Minister, Mayor Karachi, Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Babar Iftikhar Participated
The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said " This meeting is a continuation of the previous APEX Committee. It has been directed to speed up the operation against drugs, while the President of Pakistan has described the land grabs as intolerable."
The Sindh Chief Minister said that the Sindh government will fully implement the orders of the President, strict measures are being taken to restore law and order in Sindh, a comprehensive strategy has been made for street crime and kidnapping for ransom.
While giving a briefing in the meeting, Provincial Minister Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Sharjeel Inam said that a Nigerian has been arrested in the drug trade, 3 drug dealers were killed in the crackdown in Hyderabad, while 166 were killed in 164 drug-related cases, 27 vehicles and 22 motorcycles have been recovered, 4.380 kg heroin, 419.472 kg hashish, 1200 kg hemp have been recovered
