Sri Lanka Win Toss, Elect to Bat Against Pakistan in 4th ODI

Sharjah(October 20, 2017): Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in fourth ODI at Sharjah cricket stadium. Pakistan is leading the five-match series by 3-0.

Earlier, Pakistan had beat Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in the 3rd ODI to take 3-0 lead in the series. Imam-ul-Haq became the third youngest player to score a century on his one-day international debut and Hasan Ali grabbed 5-34 as Pakistan hammered Sri Lanka by seven wickets to secure a series victory on Wednesday.

Pakistan replaced paceman Rumman and Faheem Ashraf with Imad Wasim and Usman Shinwari. Shinwari is making his one-day debut. He is 216th ODI player of Pakistan.

Sri Lanka made three changes from the side which lost the third match in Abu Dhabi by seven wickets.

Sadeera Samarawickrama was handed a one-day debut while Suranga Lakmal and Seekuge Prasanna were also brought in. They replaced Dushmantha Chameera, Jeffrey Vandersay and Chamara Kapugedara.

Pakistan took an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series, with Sri Lanka’s losing streak in ODIs now stretching to 10 matches.

While Imam-ul-Haq hit 100 off 125 balls with two sixes and five fours to help Pakistan cruise to 209-3 in 42.3 overs.
