Yazd: At least thirty-five Pakistani pilgrims have been killed and fifteen others critically injured in a bus accident in Iranian city of Yazd.
According to initial reports, the accident occurred due to failure of brakes.
Injured have been shifted to near-by hospital.
According to Salar Karwan Syed Athar Shah 10 pilgrims belonged to Khairpur, six from Khairpur, while others pilgrims belonged to Kadhkot, Kashmore and Larkana.
Karwan was consisted up of two buses while other bus was stopped at Pakistan-Iran border area Ramdan owing to technical issues in passport and visa.
Syed Athar Shah apprised that he can’t leave any karwan behind so he stayed in the bus at Ramdan.
Naib Salar Asif Sirki was leading the karwan at Yazd , Syed Athar Shah apprised further adding that ill fated bus’batteries were first out of function and then it’s generator was not operating.
He informed that first bus faced the accident due to brake failure.
