Texas (January 22, 2018): There is an attack observed at a Texas high school in the United States on Monday.
A female student was wounded after a gunman opened fire at a Texas high school, police said.
The suspected gunman, a male student, was taken into custody shortly after the incident at Italy High School, about 45 miles south of Dallas, Ellis County police told the media.
There are no information about the casualties as of yet. However, Ellis County Commissioner Paul Perry posted on social media that the shooting incident happened at the Italy High School. Perry said a girl was shot and wounded.
The shooter is in custody, according to the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office, and students from the high school and nearby Stafford Elementary School are being evacuated.

One local wrote on Twitter: “They have someone in custody, thank God. The schools are still locked down. “I’m about to walk to the school and see if I can get my little sister and check on my grandmother.”
