3rd Test: WI 218/5 at stumps on day-3 against Pakistan

DOMINICA (May 13, 2017): West Indies reached 218 runs for five wickets in reply to Pakistan’s first innings total 376 at sumps of the third day of the 3rd and final Test on Friday at Windsor Park, Roseau.

West Indies’ Roston Chase was the top scorer of the day with 60 runs. He was retired hurt. Whereas, openers Kieran Powell and Kraigg Brathwaite scored 31 and 29 respectively. Powell and Brathwaite’s partnership increased 43 runs in WI total. Whereas Hope and RL chase add 55 runs in partnership. Chase and Singh increased 31 runs on WI score board. WI’s Captain Jason Holder was playing 11 and SO Dowrich was on 20. 13 extra runs were also given by the Pakistani bowlers. West Indies trail by 158 runs with 5 wickets remaining in the 1st innings.

Pakistan’s leg-spinner Yasir Shah took three wickets so far. Whereas Mohammad Abbas and Azhar Ali took one wicket each.

Earlier, the Green Shirts mounted 376 runs in their first inning.Opener Azhar Ali was the top scorer of the Pakistani innings with 127  runs.
