PESHAWAR: After obtaining a majority in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is actively working to form a government in the province. Four names are included in the race for the Chief Minister’s Office
According to the sources, the names of Party Provincial President Ali Amin Gandapur from DI Khan, Zahir Shah Toro from Mardan, Shakeel Khan from Malakand and Mushtaq Ghani from Abbottabad are being circulated in the party circles for the Chief Ministership.
Sources said that the party’s senior leaders are keen to see one of former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser and senior leader Shakeel Khan or Zahir Shah Toro as the Chief Minister.
On the other hand, the weight of former provincial minister Timur Jhagra Kamran Bangash is visible in Ali Amin Gandapur’s fold, Many leaders are likely to meet the central leadership today to get the post of Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while many leaders are busy trying to meet the founder chairman in jail to become the chief minister.
