Pakistan junior hockey team has left for Germany to participate in four-nation tournament competing with three top European teams, namely host Germany, Belgium, and Holland, for the title. The tournament will be held from July 21 to 24.
The team left for Germany via Istanbul from Lahore airport.
Captain Dilbar Hussain said that the team’s main target is world cup preparation and that he is satisfied with the preparations of his team.
The players said that they would not only gain confidence but will also learn much by playing with the top three teams. They seemed hopeful of victory.
The 18-member squad include two officials.
