Karachi: NEPRA made electricity more expensive for the people of Karachi
The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased the cost of electricity for Karachi citizens.
Notification has also been issued by NEPRA to increase the cost of electricity by 40 paisa per unit.
According to the notification, electricity has been increased by 40 paisa per unit under the August fuel price adjustment for the citizens of Karachi.
According to the NEPRA notification, the recovery from electricity consumers will be done in January bills, while those who consume up to 100 units of electricity per month.
