4000 cases of Malaria surfacing daily in Sindh

Hyderabad: At least 3000 to 4000 people are diagnosed with malaria on daily basis in Sindh as death toll has jumped to 4, 42,776 so far throughout the current year.

Hyderabad division is the most effected area of Sindh from the disease.

Whereas, as many as 1872 dengue cases have been reported during the current year in Sindh

The most of the cases of malaria, a whopping 2,12,333 reported in Hyderabad.

More than 96,000 cases surface in Mirphur Khas, over 93,000 cases in Larkana.

Besides more than 21000 cases in Sukkur, over 16000 cases in Shaheed Benazirabad.

Moreover as many as 2,858 malaria cases reported in Karachi.

On the other hand, 1872 cases of dengue have reported across Sindh, out of which, 1404 cases belonged to Karachi.

Whereas 343 cases in Hyderabad, 59 cases in Mirpur Khas, 31 in Larkana, 25 in Sukkur while 10 cases in Shaheed Benazirabad.

According to health department Sindh two people have lost their lives from malaria in the province.

Moreover no death reported from dengue so far in the province.
