WEB DESK: The Israeli military has reportedly targeted the Khour family home in Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and causing numerous injuries. Concurrently, a Palestinian teenager was killed during an Israeli army raid in the occupied West Bank.
Meanwhile, the head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees says Israel is inflicting “man-made” and “politically motivated starvation” on Gaza, as the UN’s World Food Programme reports aid stocks in the enclave are completely depleted.
Michael Fakhri, UN rapporteur on the right to food, said Israel has blockaded Gaza for more than 50 days and continues “executing this starvation campaign with no repercussions”.
At least 51,439 Palestinians have been confirmed killed and 117,416 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza since it began 18 months ago.
The Gaza government media office updated its death toll to more than 61,700, saying thousands of people missing under the rubble are presumed dead.
