Islamabad: A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Khyberf Pakhtunkhwa including Peshawar, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said on Tuesday.
No loss of life or property has been reported so far as tremors were also felt in KP’s Mansehra, Swat, Chitral and Abbottabad.
As per the Met Office, the earthquake occurred at 10:20am with its origin at the depth of 190 kilometres and epicentre in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region.
