MUZZAFARABAD: In an intelligence-based operation in Muzaffarabad, five suspected individuals have been apprehended, along with the recovery of weapons and communication devices.
According to security sources, the five suspects were detained in the Chila area of Muzaffarabad. During the operation, laptops, mobile phones, and other communication tools were seized. Preliminary investigations into the digital devices revealed suspicious contacts and sensitive material.
Security officials further stated that during interrogation, a large cache of weapons was also uncovered following the identification of one of the suspects. The cache included seven automatic weapons, several grenades, and other military equipment.
Sources added that maps, documents, and records of sensitive installations and locations were also recovered from the suspects.
