QUETTA: At least 59 police cadets and security personnel were martyred and 118 injured in the attack on police training center in Quetta.
While two suicide bombers blew themselves up as the security personnel siege them. The third terrorist was gunned down by the security personnel.
According to the details three terrorists attacked on the police training center located at Sariab Road around 9:46 pm.
Law enforcement agencies eliminated the terrorists within four hours. Bomb Disposable Squad and security personnel were conducting search operation to clear the area. The injured were shifted to different hospitals.
The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta, Bolan Medical Complex and CMH.
Earlier, Frontier Corp Inspector Genera Sher Afghan said that the terrorists involved in attack on police training center in Quetta, were in contact with their handlers in Afghanistan.
He said that the terrorists were getting instructions from their accomplices in Afghanistan and all of them were wearing suicide jackets.
