6.7 Magnitude Earthquake in Japan, 11 Killed, Dozens Injured

Tokyo (September 06, 2018): 6.7 magnitude earthquake has hit Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido. 11 people have been killed in the natural disaster, while dozens have been injured.   

According to details, Japan’s norther island, Hokkaido has been hit by a 6.7 magnitude earthquake. 11 people have been killed in the disaster, while dozens are injured. A powerful earthquake has caused landsliding that engulfed houses, injuring and trapping a score of people under the rubble.Many roads are also blocked due to landsliding. Rescue staff has started relief work. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the quake posed no tsunami risk.
