Rawalpindi: Six Khawarijs were killed in a fight between security forces and Khawarijs when they tried to attack a joint check post of Pakistan army and Frontier Constabulary in district Bannu.
Six Khawarijs were killed in an intense exchange of firing between security forces and Khawarijs in Malikhel area of district Bannu while the security forces made Khawarijs attempt to enter check post foiled.
After the failed attempt attacking the check post, Khawarijs hit the explosive laden vehicle to the wall of the check post which resulted into martyrdom of 12 soldiers.
Out of 12 martyred soldiers, 10 soldiers were belonged to Pakistan army while two Frontier constabulary (FC) personnel embraced martyrdom.
