Lahore: Six robbers were killed in an alleged police encounter in Iqbal Town area of Lahore. IG Punjab visited the scene and appreciated the performance of the officers
The accused entered Dr. Ibad’s house in Iqbal Town area with the intention of committing the crime. The robbers who entered the house by stealing took the family hostage. The doctor’s daughter on the top floor called the police. As soon as the police arrived, the accused opened fire indiscriminately. A gang of six robbers was killed in retaliatory firing by CIA and operations police. The local residents raised slogans in favor of the police after the death of the robbers.
The robbers killed in the police encounter have been identified. According to the police, Ali Raza son of Mansha Mian Chanun, Imran son of Allah Dutta, Ali Raza son of Rehmat Ali and Waseem Chhima son of Sharif Borewala while Chand son of Abdul Majeed and Waseem were residents of Wahari. According to the police, the robbers gang killed is a record holder. Cases were filed against the accused
