ISLAMABAD: A total of 613 companies got registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan during the month of August showing a 51 percent increase over same month last year.
Ninety percent of the companies registered in August were private limited companies six percent were single-member companies while the remaining four percent were unlisted public non-profit, association, trade organizations and foreign companies.
The most companies, 88, were registered in trade sector.
