Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday declared Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) petition challenging the amendments in PECA act introduced by the government as unmaintainable and disposed of it as well.
Chief Justice IHC Athar Minallah hearing the petition filed by the PML-N against the PECA amendment remarked that don’t bring the court in the political matters. The court declaring the petition as not worth listening and dispossed of it.
During the course of the hearing the CJ Athar Minallah said that the political matters should be resolved in the parliament and it should not be brought to the court.
The CJ said that a petition on the matter is under hearing filed by the journalists on which attorney journal has to give arguments in details.
