KARACHI: During last 24 hours, nine more died of heat stroke in Karachi City.
According to the Sindh Health Department, 3 deaths were reported in Jinnah hospital, 5 in Abbasi Shaheed hospital and one in civil hospital reported. Since June1, the number of deaths due to heat stroke in the city has reached twenty, the city is in grip of intense heat and the temperature is constantly touching forty degrees, while the heat is felt more intensely due to the cessation of sea breeze.
