Karachi (February 18, 2018): Karachi Police has recovered smuggled items including 9500 liters of Iranian diesel and arrested six suspects in separate raids carried out by the authorities in the metropolis.
According to police, at least six suspects were rounded off following various search operations in different areas of the metropolis.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) for Orangi Town Abid Ali Baloch, three suspects were arrested following a raid in Surjani Town and were identified as Ashraf, Abdullah, and Alam Khan.
The police official noted that contraband, as well as 9,500 litres of Iranian diesel, were recovered from the arrested suspects.
On the other hand, three other suspects were detained after an operation in Orangi Town’s Pirabad locale, Baloch said, adding that those arrested were reportedly involved in street crime.
Weapons were recovered from the accused, the police official noted.
