Like the rest of the country, processions and gatherings were held in Karachi to pay homage to the great sacrifice of 9 Muharram to Karbala martyrs.
The main procession of 9th Muharram in Karachi came to an end after reaching the Imambargah Hussainiya Iranians in Kharadar.
Special arrangements were made for the mourners in the middle of the procession corridors. Lamentations and mourning continued in the central procession to commemorate the sacrifices of the granddaughter of the Prophet and the Ahl al-Bayt.
