ISLAMABAD: The Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, on Sunday paid tribute to the police officers and personnel who sacrificed their lives for the country.
On the occasion of Police Martyrs Day, the Speaker highlighted the invaluable sacrifices made by police officers and personnel in the fight against terrorism.
“The entire nation salutes the police martyrs on the day,” said Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
He said that the whole country takes pride in the brave young men and officers of the police force. “The sacrifices of the martyrs will always be remember.The Speaker express solidarity with the families of the police martyrs who lost their lives in the war against terrorism and other incidents
He further acknowledged the role of the courageous police officers and personnel, stating, “The brave officers and young men of the police force have always acted as the vanguard in the fight against terrorism and the establishment of peace and order.”
