Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced 17-member squad for a test series against Bangladesh.
The first test between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played on August 21 to 25 in Rawalpindi.
On the other hand, Karachi will host second test between the host nation and guest team from August 30 to September 3.
Shan Masood will lead the team while Saud Shakeel has been made vice-captain.
Saud Shakeel has replaced Shaheen Shah Afridi as the vice-captain, who was the vice-captain in visit to Australia.
The decision has been taken owing to cater work load on Shaheen Shah Afridi as he is busy in the busiest season.
Pakistan team have to play nine test matches and 14 T-20 and minimum 17 One Day Internationals (ODI’s) from August 21 to April 5.
Jason Gillespie first assignment as red ball coach
It will be first series of Jason Gillespie after appointment as Pakistan red ball coach.
Whereas Muhammad Hurera, Kamran Ghulam and Muhammad Ali are part of the team after brilliant performance in the domestic cricket and Pakistan Shaheen.

The 17-member test squad included Shan Masood (Captain) Saud Shakeel (Vice-Captain) Amir Jamal, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Abdullah Shafique, Ibrar Ahmed, Baber Azam.
Besides that Kamran Ghulam, Khurram Shahzad, Mir Hamza, Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Hurera, Muhammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, Sayim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha and Shaheen Shah Afridi are also part of the team.
