Karachi: Former premier and existing chief of a political party Awam Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbassi has demanded closing down of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Talking to media after hearing of the illegal recruitment in the Pakistan State Oil (PSO) Shahid Khaqan Abbassi said that without shutting the NAB the country can’t be run.
Shahid Khaqan Abbassi also expressed his happiness over the AC Karachi ruling.
The ex-premier suggested that Army Chief and Chief Justice Supreme Court should take matters of the country into their hands.
He said that everyone is a man of authority and a man of power.
Crticising the NAB, he said that a reference of the illegal recruitment in the PSO has been run against him for a hiatus of more than four years and they could produce only single witness in the case.
He said that all such cases initiated for a political engineering while the reality of cases revealed to the court.
He suggested that all stake holders of Pakistan should sit together to see the matters.
