Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday ordered to remove Chairman National Data Base Registration Authority (NADRA) while accepting the petition against appointment of the Chairman NADRA.
The LHC declared appointment of Lieutenant General Muneer Afsar as null and void.
A citizen named Ashba Kamran had challenged the appointment of Lieutenant General Muneer Afsar.
The citizen adopted the view that the caretaker government after amending the NADRA laws appointed on duty Army officer.
Whereas the interim government can’t interfere in the constant policy matters.
The petitioner insisted the court to declare the NADRA amendments rules and also declare the appointment of on duty army officer as Chairman NADRA null and void.
