Islamabad: Daughter of President of Pakistan and sister of Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asifa Bhutto Zardari has presented call of attention notice in the today’s session of the National Assembly on closure of Utility stores Corporation of Pakistan (USCP) and Pakistan Works Department (PWD) .
Asifa Bhuttho Zardari asked the question on floor of the house was it decisions of the federal cabinet or is it being withdrawn?
To which Federal Minister for Production answered that the USCP is not being shut but its reorganization is being done while all the employees of it will be given protection.
Regarding PWD, the Minister apprised that the PWD closure is a decision of the government while an authority is being made replacing it.
He invited Asifa Bhutto to attend federal cabinet meeting for consultations.
