Karachi: Sindh government on Tuesday started first phase of Karachi safe city project.
The seven pool sites under the Karachi safe city project have started working and the city is being monitored through 35 Close Circuit cameras.
Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar and IG sindh police Ghuam Nabi Memon informed the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a meeting in Karachi today that four to six CCTV cameras are installed at each pool site.
The meeting was informed that construction of safe city authority headquarters has also been started.
Under the projects as many as 1300 cameras will be installed in different areas of Karachi.
Whereas suspected vehicles, identification of accused will be conducted through artificial intelligence.
