Karachi: An abundance of mosquitoes around Karachi after the monsoon rains triggered multiples of diseases in the city.
Dengue virus, Chicken Gonia and Malaria diseases are on the rise in the metropolis. Owing to scared measures for drainage in the city after the rains gave an alarming growth of mosquitoes.
Health department has demanded a spray across the city for eradicating mosquito build up.
On the other hand, dengue virus alert has been issued for all big cities of the country.
Warning has alerted cities administrations about possible spread of dengue is feared from September 20 to December 5.
The people of the country has been directed to take precautionary measures to avoid the disease.
The warning has been issued for Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Hyderabad, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Larkana, Multan and others.
The spread of the virus is likely to spread from three weeks to five weeks.
The warning also urged the dengue control centers, national health agencies to keep vigilant for the situation.
